I love reading, yet I go in spurts with it. Because books serve a larger purpose in my life which is loving to learn.

If I’m taking a course, studying for a certification or stretching myself in some sort of way, reading is usually on the back burner. Then in the summer months, it’s not uncommon for me to have 2-3 books going at a time, depending on the mood I want while enjoying the Northern Michigan beaches.

With all the conversations I have about book recommendations, suggestions, and inquiries as to my favorites…I figured making the list and sharing my top 10 would be a fun newsletter. And, hopefully encourage you to share back one or two of your favorites as well.

In no particular order, here you are!

At the end of the day, books are good at providing information, yet bad at creating a journey of transformation. That’s what coaching is for.

If you find yourself saying, “I know what to do, I just don’t know how to make myself do it”, it could be time for a call.
